EDU 577- Educational Computing: Theory and Practice

 

COURSE DESCRIPTION: An examination of the research on computer use in education as it relates to current and future uses of computers in schools. Development of an in-depth project related to software evaluation, curriculum development, the teaching of programming, or another relevant topic. 

 

For this class we had to create a technology plan (Appendix M) for our classrooms.  At the time, I was a long-term substitute for an ELL classroom.  Our district did not have a lot of money, so my technology plan turned into a technology wish list! It’s hard to teach children with limited English on just a projector alone, one gets very creative!
