EDU 621- Supervision of Teaching and Learning with Technology

 

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is designed to prepare participants to evaluate the use of technology in instruction, access teacher and student skills and plan for development of technologically skilled teachers and students. 

For this class we had to evaluate our use of technology in the classroom.  In this assignment (Appendix U) I reflected on my past lesson plans, their use of technology, and how I would try to make them better, given the opportunity to actually teach them.  During this class, I was dead-set on teaching graphic design, but as my experience grew, so did my change of heart. 

Part of this class required us to create a unit plan (Appendix V) using the Common Core State Standards. I chose a grade level topic and standard completely out of my realm and it shows, hence the reflection (Appendix U).  This was my first crack at writing a unit plan as well.
